Teas & Concoctions
Turning a passion into something useful...
Being sick is not fun for anybody and definitely not great when you're a singer and you have a concert or a gig coming up. We've all been looking for that miracle solution that will make our throat feel better, open up that airway and put us back on the road to Broadway!
After trying many commercial teas (some I even specially ordered from the US and the UK!), and doing the good old lemon and honey mixture, I wanted to come up with something that would work better for me, and hopefully for my students too. And so I started following my passion for teas by reading more about them, but also about roots and barks that have been used for medicinal purposes for hundreds of years and yet, are still unknown to most of us.
I have finally come up with a few concoctions I like, including some key ingredients; something that tastes good and feels good, and hopefully you'll enjoy them to!
Inspired by my students and their desire to keep singing even during their sick times!
